Meet Dr. Michael Truong

Dr. Michael Truong was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. He attended the University of Regina before attaining his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto, ON. CMCC is the leader in chiropractic education and research in Canada and is being recognized for creating leaders in spinal health. During his internship, he had the opportunity to provide chiropractic services in a collaborative setting with professionals of various health disciplines at St. Michael’s Hospital Family Practice in downtown Toronto.

In addition to being a chiropractor, Dr. Michael Truong is also a certified acupuncture provider

Due to his special interest in sports medicine, he decided to further his training. Dr. Michael Truong is a graduate of the International Olympic Committee’s Diploma of Sports Physical Therapy and FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine. He provides care and rehabilitation to elite athletes by incorporating scientific principles, latest research, and applies current best practice of sport physical therapies.

His goal is to not only treat and prevent injuries, but also optimize performance of individuals regardless of the activity and skill level. He is an expert in the management of joint, muscle, and nerve-related conditions such as low back pain, neck pain, headaches, and sports injuries.
